Born in New York City and raised most of her life in Brooklyn, Charulata has always had a solid foundation in media arts and creative writing. Inspired by the diverse culture in which she was raised, her work has become an expression and celebration of differences. It wasn't until college that she discovered her passion for photography. Her specialty is working alternative processes, both traditional and digital.
